She was predeceased by: her parents, T. Lemert Mattingly and Catharine Mattingly (Sebaugh); her husband J. Leo Burkhart; her brother Joe Mattingly; her daughter-in-law Cathy Nash Burkhart; her grandchildren, Grant Alan Hickman, Miles Thomas Nessline and Valerie Layne Hickman; and her great grandchild Rowe Catherine Burkhart.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Burkhart, Nancy Nash (Joe), Anita Nessline (Greg), Elaine Pellatt (Joe), Jeanette Weinberg (David), Beth Ann Hickman (Bret), Michael Burkhart, Patrick Burkhart (Becky), Kent Burkhart (Wendy), Dean Burkhart (Erin) and Keith Burkhart (Heather); and her sisters, Lois Stewart and Jean Scott (Bernard). She is also survived by twenty four grandchildren; ten great-grandchildren.
