He was predeceased by : his parents, Harry A. Black and Rosa Patterson. He is survived by : his daughter Dana Davis (Marc); his granddaughter Sidney B.; and his siblings, Harriet Weckbacher (late Donald), Theresa King (late Brian), Evelyn Miguel (Tom), Jackie Azevedo (Gene), Roland Hall (Priscilla) and David Hall. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Hershey Montessori School, 10229 Prouty Road, Painesville, Ohio 44077.
