He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Barnes and Dorothy Barnes (Goffinet); his son Thomas A. Barnes, Jr.; and his siblings, Larry Barnes and Kathy Lepley.
He is survived by: his wife Marcia; his daughter Meredith Acevedo (Carlo) of Doylestown; his daughter-in-law Tonya Barnes of Doylestown; his son Jared Barnes (Wendy) of Doylestown; his grandchildren, Taylor Zickefoose (Marvin), Jordan Jung (Zac), Alison Barnes, Kacie Barnes, Carlo, Maxwell and Kennedy Acevedo; his great grandchild Mina Zickefoose; his brothers, Robert Barnes (Dianne) and Denny Barnes (Sandy); and his siblings-in-law, Ira Lepley and Kathy Barnes.
Visitation following Covid-19 guidelines requiring facial coverings, social distancing, and limited numbers of guests in the facility, will be held on Sunday, February 14, 2021 from 3 to 5 p. m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown 44230.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Chippewa Township Fire Department, 464 Gates St., Doylestown, OH 44230.
