The memory of Sarah L. Smith (Doylestown, Ohio), who passed away on February 10, 2025 at the age of 98, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. She was predeceased by: her parents, Jerome Dannemiller and Frances Dannemiller (Dennis); her husband Robert L. "Smitty" Smith; and her brothers, Kenneth (Margaret), Howard "Barney" (Lillian), Francis (Glenna) and Joseph Dannemiller (Anna).
She is survived by: her children, Pamela L. Frazier of Alexandria, VA, Nina L. Danik (Michael) of Doylestown and Jeff Smith (Darlene) of Doylestown; her grandchildren, Jamie Hodgkinson (Michael), Jenny Smith, Doug Smith, Katie Barr (Chris), Kyle Danik, Drew Frazier and Sam Frazier; and her great grandchildren, Noah Lance, Maci Hodgkinson, Ella Hodgkinson and Baby Boy Barr. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 17th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home (132 Portage St, Doylestown, OH 44230). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Sts. Peter & Paul Catholic Church (161 W Clinton St, Doylestown, OH 44230).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Robert and Sarah Smith Scholarship Fund or Sts. Peter and Paul Catholic Church.
