He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde A. Shields and Wilma V. Shields (Glover); his wife Laura G.; and his son Richard O. Shields. He is survived by: his daughters, Teresa Stillman and Terry Daugherty of North Canton, OH; his grandchildren, Shaun, Jeremy Smith, Rachael Troutman (Paul) and Matt Knapp; and his brother Robert Shields of Akron. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
