It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Martin Eckert of Doylestown, Ohio, born in Utica, New York, who passed away on December 13, 2020, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lewis Eckert and Judy Deutsch (See); and his siblings, Dennis Eckert and Cyndi White. He is survived by: his wife Donna; his children, Wendy Ames (Steven) of Copley and Marty Eckert of Doylestown; his grandchildren, Keely, Steven "Sam" and Nate; his siblings, Steven Eckert of Massillon and Vikki Tucke of Massillon; and his siblings-in-law, Connie Clifford (Dennis), Cindy Bail (Bill) and Ira Lepley. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, other family, and friends.
A memorial service, following Covid-19 guidelines requiring social distancing and masks, will be held on Sunday, December 20th, 2020 at 2 p. m. at the Doylestown United Methodist Church, 153 Church St., Doylestown, OH 44230 with Pastor Angela Lewis, officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the church.
