He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Hosey and Louise Hosey (Gunn); his stepfather Charles Powell; his half-sister Patricia Powell-White; and his uncles, Pete Gunn and Delbert Gainer.
He is survived by: his wife Charlotte; his daughter Lynn Crowder of Norton; his grandchildren, Daniel Crowder (Lexi) and Denise Crowder; his great grandchildren, Daniel Jr. and Mackenzie Crowder; and his aunts, Ada Gunn and Bertha Gainer.
Calling hours following Covid-19 guidelines requiring facial coverings, and social distancing will be held on Monday, May 24, 2021 from 6 to 8 p. m. at the Zak-Thacker & Monbarren Funeral Home, 132 N. Portage St., Doylestown, OH, 44230.
