He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty; his daughter Carole Davis; his brothers, Jerry and Clyde; his stepchildren, Debra Heckman and Patrick Telin; and his grandchildren, Jeremiah Rhodes and Josh Davis.
He is survived by: his wife Marie; his children, Dale Rhodes (Karen) of Doylestown, Mark Rhodes (Barb) of Massillon and Terrie Gent (Robert) of Wadsworth; his stepson Mike Telin (Dan Hathaway) of Cleveland; and his sister Rose Gent of Canal Fulton. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren.
