He was predeceased by: his parents, Lynn Ross and Grace Ross (White); his wife Esther; his brothers, Edwin Ross (Alberta) and Russell Ross; and his girlfriend Helen Helmick.
He is survived by: his children, Dianna Hatfield (John) of Marshallville, Gene Ross (Cathy) of Canal Fulton, David Ross (Sue) of Wooster and Barbara Trivett of Doylestown; his grandchildren, Susan Bromley (Todd), Jason, Gavin Ross (Tim), Hillary Harlow (Kaleb), Mason Ross (Olivia) and Landan Holmes (Tristan); his great grandchildren, Garrett Bromley (Kayla), Wyatt Bromley (Natalie), Jacob, Anderson Hatfield, Audynn Harlow and Baron Holmes; his great great grandchild Rhett; and his close friend Betty Bloss. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
