He was predeceased by: his parents, William Fredrick and Anna Christine Werner; his wife Leida Werner; and his siblings, Fred, Art Werner and Shirley Kataro.
He is survived by: his children, Heidi Werner (Geoff Wray) of Mayflower and Richard; his daughter-in-law Becky Werner of New Philadelphia; his daughter Ria; his son-in-law Randy Klinck of Estero, Florida.; his grandchildren, Izzy Graaf, Bailey Graaf, Sean Graaf, Dakota Graaf, Amelia Werner, Logan Klinck, Chloe Klinck and Mariah Klinck; his niece Ann Kataro; his nephew Steve Kataro; and his adoptive son Michael Flaata (family: Netherlands) of Columbus. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and family.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Emmanuel Lutheran Church or the Salem Saxon Club Scholarship fund.
