It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Wilbert S. Abel of Dover, Ohio, born in Mineral City, Ohio, who passed away on January 12, 2021, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence E. Abel and Estella B. Russell Abel; his son Landon Abel; and his siblings, Bertha, Clarence Jr. and John Abel.
He is survived by: his daughters, Christina, Laura Abel, Holly Jones (Michael), Autumn, Willow (Paul Miller), Echo and Miracle Abel; his grandchildren, Cyrelle, Dryden, Valen, Jensen, Kaity and Kiley; and his siblings, Leroy (Betty), Don Abel and Debbie. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews; and his many friends.
Family and friends are invited to call at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home & Crematory, Dover, on Sunday, January 17, 2 - 4 p. m. Because of the COVID-19 pandemic, masks must be worn at all times in the funeral home and social distancing must be observed.
