She was predeceased by: her parents, William Sanders and Dottie Bell Sanders (Moss); her husband Charles Alvin Smith; her children, William, Wayne Smith, Marilyn and Anita Kay Smith; her grandson Curtis Taggart; and her stepmother Rachel Sanders.
She is survived by: her children, Dottie Smith (Larry Miller), Janice Short, Chuck Smith (Missy) and Jeremy Smith (Bobbie Marie); and her siblings, Elwood, Fred, Darlene, Belinda, Goldie, Archie, Dever, Tom, Dottie Lou, Bob and Bill. She is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
