He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas W. Ackerman and Janice Atkinson Ackerman; his brother Daniel M Ackerman; and his sister-in-law Diann J Ackerman. He is survived by: his wife Janet Little Ackerman; his children, Tangie L., Randy D. Ackerman (Sue) of Massillon, Thomas M Ackerman (Kristi) of Massillon, Dawn R. Maybaugh (Dave) of Brewster and James Baus (Tammy) of Massillon; his siblings, Sherry Wendell of Navarre and Gerald Ackerman of Canton; and his sister-in-law Kim Ackerman of Massillon. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
