He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas A. Dean and Ona Smith Dean; and his wife Annabelle Gibbs. He is survived by: his children, Betty Weigand (Greg) of Dover and Richard Dean (Carol) of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Michael Weigand and Brooke Dean; his great grandchild Ella Dean; and his half-siblings, Rod Dean, Shirley Dean, Ruby Quillen, Diane Hayes and Arlene Daugherty. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews.
