He was predeceased by: his father Robert Murphy; and his parents-in-law, Joe and Judy Bosler. He is survived by: his mother Doris Ray Murphy; his wife Barbara Bosler Murphy; his stepchildren, Stephanie Bragg (Chris) of Dover, Stacy Gordon (Mike) of Dover, Steven "Greg" Murphy of Dover, Johnathan Sargent of Dover and Josh Stillwagon of Dover; his grandchildren, Erick Beers (Ashley), Elissa Sensbach Murphy, Caitlyn Bragg, Chelsie Bragg, Avery Gordon and Christian Gordon; his great grandchild Elena Beers; his siblings, Debbie Jacoby (Marty) of Sandyville, Brenda Bagnoli (Enzo), Canton and Duane Murphy (Kim) of Mineral City; and his uncle David Murphy of East Sparta. He is also survived by niece and several nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
