With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth J. (Pritchard) Richard of Dover, Ohio, born in New Philadelphia, Ohio, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 95. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Ruth J. (Pritchard) Richard to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Harley Schide and Sophia Schide (Maurer); her husband Donald "Gene" Richard; and her brother Dale Schide. She is survived by: her daughters, Sarah Goodwin (Don) of Westfield Center, OH, Amy Derck (Gary) of New Bern, NC and Mary Ann Kearney (William) of Chapel Hill, NC; her stepson John Richard (Karen) of Alpharetta, GA; her sister-in-law Mary Wilson; her nephew Alan Schide (Karen); and her niece Tara Miller (Larry). She is also survived by six grandchildren; along with eleven great-grandchildren.
The family asks that due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, guests wear masks.
