With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Gray of Dover, Ohio, born in Gnadenhutten, Ohio, who passed away on November 5, 2021 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Josiah K. Mahaffey and Nancy A. Mahaffey (Barnhill); her husband Eugene L. Gray Sr.; her siblings, Leona Runnicker, Joann Edwards, Donna Wallace, Rebecca Mahaffey, Mary Lou Stover (Norman), Donald Mahaffey and Robert Mahaffey; and her sister-in-law Doris Witasman.
She is survived by: her children, Eugene L. Gray of Strasburg, Josiah W. Gray Sr. (Joyce) of New Philadelphia, Kathy N. Goff (Larry) of Freeport and Lucia E. Vandine of Uhrichsville; and her grandchildren, Josiah Gray (Sue), Jason Gray, Wendy Shephard, Dennis Goff (Bernie), Brandi Gibson (Tim), Bethanie Arnold, Marvin "Allen" Bache (Nichole), Stephanie Stratton and Bryan Gray. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren and 6 great great grandchildren.
