He was predeceased by: his parents, Romeo Bumgardner and Dessie Bumgardner (Hendrickson); his wife Dorothy J. Bumgardner (Crites); and his children, Russell J. Bumgardner and Peggy S. Mccollam.
He is survived by: his children, Steven L. Bumgardner (Diane) and Christine J. Miller (John). He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; 24 great grandchildren; along with many nieces, nephews.
