He was predeceased by: his parents, James Fondriest and Sybilla Franz Fondriest; and his siblings, J. Earl, Elden, Jean (Ervin Fondriest) and Nadine Collins (Marian Karl).
He is survived by: his wife D. Sue Judy Fondriest; and his children, Julie Flickinger (Ron) of Arizona, Ronald Fondriest (Jill Yuen) of New Philadelphia, Robert Fondriest (Jennifer) of Granville, Richard Fondriest (Pam) of North Carolina, Rodney Fondriest (Dianna) of Strasburg and Judith Abrecht (Jason) of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren, his family, friends.
Memorial contributions may be made to the St. Joseph Catholic Church or to Community Hospice.
