He was predeceased by: his father Roland Minnis; his parents-in-law, Sam and Edna Dunfee; his brothers, Walter and Donald Dunfee; and his sister-in-law Bonnie Minnis.
He is survived by: his mother Alice Bair Minnis of New Philadelphia; his wife Sue Dunfee; his children, Aaron Minnis of Dover and Stacey Smith (Ryan) of Canal Fulton; his grandchildren, Austin, Addy, Isabella Minnis, Bailey, Rylee and Grayson Smith; his siblings, Daniel Minnis (Pam), Larry Minnis (Lenora), Kathy Hilderbrand and Richard Minnis (Clare); and his brother-in-law Dan Dunfee. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
