It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Phyllis I. Applegate of Dover, Ohio, born in Orrville, Ohio, who passed away on October 9, 2024, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred G. Miller and Hazel Miller (Meanor); her husband James; her son Wayne West; her granddaughter Chelsea Mulligan; and her brother George Miller.
She is survived by: her daughter Linda Kendle (Doug) of Dover; her stepdaughter Kathy Mulligan (William) of Uhrichsville; and her grandchildren, Greg Kuhl (Jennifer), Derek, Rodney Stevens (Katie), Sara Barr (Kirt) and Lacey Hylton. She is also survived by her nine great-grandchildren; and her niece and nephew.
Additionally, Phyllis gave freely of her time and talent volunteering for the Red Cross in blood donation and helping to feed the hungry.
