Phyllis Ames Obituary
We are sad to announce that on December 30, 2024, at the age of 92, Phyllis Ames (Dover, Ohio) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Galen H. Davis and Ruth L. Davis (Frizzell); and her son Carter Thomas Ames. She is survived by: her husband Dan Ames; her son Tim Ames (Robin) of New Philadelphia; her grandchildren, Jennifer Wallace (Munson), Lindsey (Matthew Wallace), Caitlin Enos (Tyler) and Kody Ames; her siblings-in-law, Geoffrey Ames (Diane) and Stephanie Manly; and also Joyce.
Visitation was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the Linn-Hert Geib Funeral Home & Crematory - New Philadelphia (116 2nd St NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663). A memorial service was held on Friday, January 17th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the same location.
Memorial contributions in Phyllis' memory may be directed to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, the Salvation Army, or a charity of the donor's choice.
