With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Paul E. Rufener of Dover, Ohio, born in Hannibal, Ohio, who passed away on April 10, 2024 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edwin Rufener and Alma Rufener (Winkler); his wife Maxine L. Murphy; his sister Irene; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Parker and Jay Flaherty.
He is survived by: his children, Randy Rufener (Mischelle) of Bolivar, Ken Rufener (Lynn) of Illinois and Patti Devaul (Art) of Dover; his grandchildren, Ryan of Sean, AJ, Jay, Nicole, Katie, Cory, Tiffany and Jayme; and his siblings, Carl Rufener (Sandie) of Dover, Doris Flaherty of Massillon and Louise Schott (John) of Navarre. He is also survived by close friends and his neighbors.
