She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul F. Austin, Sr. and Barbara A. Cool Austin; and her father-in-law Michael Wenger. She is survived by: her spouse Parker Swegheimer; her son Logan; her siblings, Jennifer Meese, Judith Redman (David), Paul Austin, Jr., Tiffaney Austin, Cody Fox (Kayla Grove), Blaze Fox, David Austin (Hannah Porter) and David Quarles; her parents-in-law, Marcia Wenger and Michael Swegheimer; and her siblings-in-law, Seth Swegheimer (Lexi Yoder), Emma Wenger and Elizabeth Swegheimer (Maddi Williams). She is also survived by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family requests that contributions in her memory be directed to the Hydrocephalus Association, 4340 East West Highway, Suite 905, Bethesda, Maryland, 20814-4447.

“I am so sorry for your loss. Michelle was an amazing person and my heart is broken for you. I only knew her in these last few weeks, but her love for her family was huge. A mother’s love couldn’t be any bigger than it was for her son. He was her world. She spoke with so much love of him and spoken often of her mother. I will never, ever forget the conversations we would have. Such a strong, amazing woman and such an unbelievable tragedy. Logan will always have a guardian angel above. Prayers.”
