He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn W. Dessecker and Helen N. Dessecker (Fisher); his son Timothy Dessecker; and his brother Glenn L. "Larry" Dessecker. He is survived by: his wife Darlene Dessecker (Maurer); his children, Tamara Lynn Brenneman (Danny) of West Lafayette, Lori Ann Chamberlain (Michael) of Dover and Brian Keith Dessecker (Lynn) of Dover; his stepchildren, Christine Brown of New Philadelphia, Timothy Schaar of New Philadelphia and Shawn Boughner of Dover; his grandchildren, Danika, Jarrett, Zander Brenneman, Haley Chamberlain (Greg Castetter), Kaden Chamberlain and Dr. Brandon Dessecker (Brittany); his stepgrandchildren, Taylor, Derek, Cameron and Parker; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Remedi and Elija; and his siblings, Dave Dessecker (Linda) of Dover and Yvonne "Lynn" Stephan (Larry) of Dover.
Due to COVID 19, safety precautions will be taken. The 6-foot rule will be honored and all guests are required to wear a mask to enter the funeral home.
