She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer F. McMerrell and Shirley Henning McMerrell; and her brother Jeff McMerrell. She is survived by: her sons, Scott Richard Gum of Clarksburg, Willis Paul Gum of Clarksburg, W. Va, Jack Willis Gum of Salem and W. Va; her sister Sharon McMerrell of Strasburg, Seven; and her grandson Darryl Rainsburg of New Philadelphia.
