He was predeceased by: his parents, Ellis Sayre and Myrtle Cook Sayre; and his siblings, Verl, Roy Turney Sr., Dora Richardson and Wanda Linard.
He is survived by: his wife Millicent Shepherd Sayre; his sons, Bradley Sayre (Debbie) of Dover, Harold Sayre (Cindy Moss) of Virginia and Allan Sayre (Steph) of South Carolina; his sister Carol Fantine of Dover; his grandsons, Joseph C. Sayre and Alec Sayre; and his stepgrandchildren, Ryan, Brandon Dotts and Jilaine Kellner. He is also survived by his extended family, including many nieces and nephews.
