He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Basiletti and Sue Tiffner; his wife Joyce Basiletti; his sister Joan Wolfe; and his daughter-in-law Joy Stealey.
He is survived by: his sons, Erick N. Stealey (Kelly "Blinky") of Dover and Greg A. Stealey of Dover; his grandchildren, Erick Stealey (Caitlin), Samantha Bonaduce (Eric), Ashlee Kurtz, Kyle Kurtz (Tori), Brittany Stealey, Brianna Stealey, Selena Miller (Justin) and Sierra Stealey; his sister Nancy S. Kimble of Dover; and his friends, Lee and Rose Pease. He is also survived by ten great-grandchildren, and another great-grandchild.
The family suggests that contributions in John's memory be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society, 1432 Tall Timber Rd. N.E., New Philadelphia, Ohio 44663.
