He was predeceased by: his parents, George Collins and Ruth Kilper Collins; and his son Todd M. Collins. He is survived by: his wife Carol Lampe Collins; his son Eric S. Collins of Florida; and his siblings, Judy Collins of Texas and Tom Collins of Scio. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Tuscarawas County Humane Society at 1432 Tall Timber Rd NE, New Philadelphia, OH 44663.
