He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherwood Barker and Madge Tomblin Barker; his wife Bev Barker; his daughter Shelly Thornton; and his siblings, Carl Barker, Peggy Lewis, Christine Dallas and Marie Levengood.
He is survived by: his son Jack Barker (Heather) of Massillon; his siblings, Dan Barker (Sue) of Arizona, Gerald Barker of Uhrichsville and Connie McDade (Ron) of Dover; his son-in-law Brian Thornton of Mineral City; and his grandchildren, Megan, Justin, Casey and Brianna. He is also survived by three great grandchildren.
