He was predeceased by: his parents, Francis Welsch and Ruth Welsch (Lyons); his wife Patricia L. Shaw; his siblings, William Welsch and Betty Ruby; his half-brother Max Sibole; and his grandparents, Lettie and Bill Lyons.
He is survived by: his children, Teresa Wright of Dover, Jaynise Welsch (John Ourant) of Newcomerstown and Jack T. Welsch (Iris) of Charlottesville, Virginia; and his grandchildren, Seth Clark (Melissa Garbrandt), Andrew Wright (Erin), Rachel Strauss (Mark), Lindsey Harvey (Jake), Jesse Welsch, Brooke Blond (Tony) and Misty Johnson. He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and one great great grandson.
