She was predeceased by: her parents, Jim Biederman and Hazel Biederman (Border); her husband Charles R. Emert; and her sisters, Carol and Nellie Biederman.
She is survived by: her children, Mark Miskimen (Marla) of Dennison, Scott Miskimen (Jennifer) of Sugarcreek, Janice Miskimen of Dover and Gary Miskimen (Linda) of Sterling; and her grandchildren, Melissa Hershberger, Michelle Horton, Matthew Meek, Mianna Morrison, Kenny Merdell, Nathan Merdell, Kym Miskimen, Nick Miskimen, Jordan Blake, Jesse Blake, Caitlyn Miskimen and Chris Miskimen. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
