He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert McLane Denison and Frankie McNeill White Denison; his former wife Dorothy Jean Alverson; his wife Joann Shields Murphy; and his sister Eleanor Lambert of Dover.
He is survived by: his children, Deborah Murphy of Canton, Karen Denison (Terry Taddeucci) of Santa Fe, Joseph Murphy (Jacqueline) of Wellsboro, Heidi Huett (Brett) of Ellicott City and Catherine Schuster (Keith) of Fairview Park, Ohio.; and his grandchildren, Scott Murphy, Nathan Murphy, Ryan, Preston Huett and Mandy Wilson of New Philadelphia. He is also survived by daughter; and numerous friends.
