Harold Raymond Swauger Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Harold Raymond Swauger of Dover, Ohio, born in Dennison, Ohio, who passed away on January 27, 2023, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Archie and Thelma Beatrice Swauger (Barr); his wife Catherine Ann "Kay" Hughes; his son-in-law Dennis Whitson; his siblings, Violet Cecil and Paul Swauger; and his half-sisters, Helen Maurer, Mary Gervasi and Pauline Loveday.
He is survived by: his daughters, Kathy Whitson of New Philadelphia, Sue Anne Ellwood (Jeff) of Dover and Rita Hartman (Ken) of Colorado; his grandchildren, Emily Hartman, Robb Hartman and Nicole Whitson; and his great grandchildren, Gwendolyn Whitson and Elise Hartman. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and close friends.
