With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Gerald L. Dotts of Dover, Ohio, who passed away on June 2, 2022 at the age of 84. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Homer Dotts and Anne Smitley Dotts; and his siblings, Sonny, Jack, Tiny Dotts, Gracey Dotts and Betty Champion.
He is survived by: his wife Patricia Dorsey Dotts; his children, Beth Reynolds (Jeff McCarty) of Dundee, Debbie Hilton (Todd) of Dover and Michael Dotts (Heather) of Stone Creek; his siblings, Chick Dotts (Carol) of New Philadelphia, Richard Dotts Sr. (Doris) of Dover, Vicki Todd (Bob) of Akron, Dorothy Church of Dover and Helen Myers of New Philadelphia; his grandchildren, Amanda Pompey (Sean), Andrew Pompey (Cheyenne), Sydney, Cassidy Hilton, Gemma, Cora, Aria and Isla Dotts; and his great grandchildren, Garyson Pulley, Liam and Oliver Pompey. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
