She was predeceased by: her parents, Herbert S. Carman and Gertrude Mae Carman (Moss); her former husband Claude Swartzel; her son Claude "Gene" Swartzel; and her siblings, Robert "Bob" Carman, James "Jim" Carman, Richard "Dick" Carman, Clyde Carman, Herbert "Herb" Carman and Ruth Wineka.
She is survived by: her husband David Jones; her daughter Donna VanSickel (Terry); her grandsons, Kevin Borst (Allyson) and Mason Swartzel; her great grandchildren, Cory Borst, Lauren Borst and Olivia Swartzel; her brother William "Bill" Carman; her daughter-in-law Kathy Swartzel; her son JP May; and her grandson Emmett May.
