She was predeceased by: her parents, Clarence Frye and Elizabeth Frye (Flinner); and her husband Howard D. Bowers. She is survived by: her son Ronald Bower (Mariane) of New York; her grandchildren, Blake, Joseph, Emily and Samuel; her daughter Brenda Kennedy (Michael) of Florida; her grandchildren, Brooke Nimick (Alex) and Nicole Neth (Bryan); her daughter Martha Fondriest of Ohio; her grandsons, Jacob and Matthew Fondriest (Madelyn); her son Samuel Bowers of Ohio; and her great grandchildren, James, Jonathan, Vera and Lydia.

Due to the ongoing Covid-19 pandemic, there will be a private service for the family.
