He was predeceased by: his parents, James "Glenn" Gordon and Lela Miller Gordon; and his siblings, Lyle, Olin Gordon and Glenda Gordon.
He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Paul Gordon (Cheryl) of Shreve, James William Gordon (Marianne) of Dover, Philip Ray Gordon (Lori) of Batavia and Eric Doran Gordon (Summer) of Zanesfield; his brother Von Gordon (Shirley) of Dover; his siblings-in-law, Carol Lear (Dave), Kay Huth (Bill) and Dick Harvey (Linda); and his grandchildren, Kristy Herman (Joel), Kala Shaw (Jorden) of Dover, Kami Miller (Brad) of Kolkata, Cody Gordon (Meghan) of Dover, Laura Fisher (Iain) of Exeter, Paul Gordon (Amanda) of Loveland, Mark Gordon (Kayla) of Saginaw, Todd Gordon of Columbus, Brittni Stowe (Brett) of Knysna, Taylor Romano (Michael) of Dunstable, Shelby Mellano (Mason) of Lima, Tristan Gordon of Greenville, Miriam Froman (Zachariah), Landon Gordon of Bolivar, Wyatt, Emersyn and Stella Gordon of Zanesfield. He is also survived by 23 great grandchildren.
