We bid farewell to Donald R. Kapper of Dover, Ohio, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 14, 2025 at the age of 78. Donald touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Dee Biddle Kapper; his son Shawn Kapper (Missy) of Dover; his grandchildren, Carolina and Grady Kapper; his siblings, Bill Kapper (Judy) of Hartville, Bob Kapper of Orrville, LaVerna Reinoehl of Columbus and Joyce Egan of Massillon; and his siblings-in-law, Ken Schar of Sterling and Terry Biddle (Pat) of Canton.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Toland-Herzig Funeral Home and Crematory (803 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, March 1st 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.

“Truly a great man of God and of the horse world. We loved Don like family....Don was a man above other men. No one like him. He was the breeder of my Davina Caeli OBX and storehouse of breeding and nutrition knowledge over decades which he shared humbly and freely. My life was blessed in many ways to have known him and Dee. It was my honor to interview him for a feature article about his fabulous breeding program. I am certain Don is in Heaven riding his first horse that he so loved.”
