He is survived by: his birth mother Anna S. Ballantyne; his spouse Lynn Hruby; his daughter Jill Ballantyne of Clearwater, FL; his grandsons, Spenser Albrecht of Bluffton, SC and Chandler Albrecht of Mooresville, NC; and his sister Catherine Alling of Bethlehem, PA..
