She was predeceased by: her parents, Verland and Lina Starkey (Lowe); and her husband Clyde E. Carruthers. She is survived by: her children, Debbie Billetter (David) of Fairborn, Ohio and Edward C. Carruthers (Heather) of Dover, Ohio; her grandchildren, Melissa Shrader, Jeremy Billetter (Nicole), Cameron Carruthers, Kaitlyn Carruthers and Ashton Carruthers; her great grandchildren, Lauren Shrader, Alicia Shrader, Dakota Chafin, MacKenzie Chafin, Lily Billetter and Jackson Billetter; and her sister Anna Marie King (Charles) of Durham.
