She was predeceased by: her parents, Homer N. McCoy and Oleta M. McCoy (Culver); her husband Harry W. Sparks; her daughter Carolyn Briggs; her grandsons, Jason Briggs and Jericoe Jones; and her pet Spot.
She is survived by: her children, Alice Simmons of Dover and Carl Sparks (Darlene) of New Philadelphia; and her grandchildren, Benjamin Newsome (April), Amanda Douglas, Anna Harmon (Wyatt), Carla Cantu, Tommy Sparks, Pamela Sparks and Kyle Simmons. She is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren and great great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
