With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David M. Garan of Dover, Ohio, born in Jefferson, Ohio, who passed away on November 16, 2024 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Garan and Margaret Garan (Mozie); and his siblings, Mary, Thomas, Betty and Donald.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Garan (Bazar); his sons, David Garan (Maryjane) of Strasburg and Scott Garan (Melanie) of Kent; his grandsons, Nick Garan and Michael Garan (Taylor); his great grandchildren, Mason, Marshall and Malin; and his sister Dorothy Puskarich of Hopedale.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Geib Funeral Center (5600 N Wooster Ave, Dover, OH 44622). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 23rd 2024 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location.
The family requests that memorial contributions be directed to St. Paul's Evangelical Lutheran Church, 156 Poplar Street, Bolivar, Ohio 44612.
