She was predeceased by: her parents, Buford and Beatrice Ray Sr. (Huffman); her husband Orliage "Smugs" Byrom; her daughter-in-law Rhonda Byrom; and her siblings, Evelyn Welcher, Charles, Philip, Napoleon, Buford Jr., Clabe and Alfonso Ray.
She is survived by: her children, Colbert "Colby" Byrom of Dover, Dean Byrom of New Philadelphia, Demetra "Kaye" Ransom of Dover, Samuel "Jake" Byrom of Newcomerstown, Teresa Mann of Columbus, Darrell "Jerry" Byrom of Columbus and Beatrice Byrom of Dover; her siblings, Catherine Kelker of Dover, Diana Jones of Dover and Richard Rex Ray of Dover; and her cousin Sene Sherrell. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren, 25 great grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
