He was predeceased by: his parents, Cheese Miller and Mary Jane McMillen Slates; his son Douglas Miller; his brothers, Lanny and Gary Miller; and his stepfather James Slates.
He is survived by: his close friend Judy Deibel; and his children, Mia Huston (Kevin) of Uhrichsville and Bryan Miller (Tonya) of Strasburg. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.
