He was predeceased by: his parents, Lawrence Gibbons and Lucille Gibbons (Coury). He is survived by: his former wife Lucia Gibbons of Dover; his children, Christopher Gibbons (Dallas) of Beaufort, S. C., Michael Gibbons of Dover, Sophia Gibbons of Dayton and Elizabeth Hemingway of Florida; his stepdaughter Heather; and his siblings, Bob Gibbons, Ron Gibbons, Patti Di Bartolomeo of Wheeling and Cindy Ruggerio of Wheeling. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
