She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilbur Varns and Olga Weinman Varns; her spouse Thad G. Freshwater; and her brothers, George and Robert Varns.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Freshwater (Connie) of Mesa, Sherry Huenemann (Bill) of Lincoln and John Freshwater (Nancy) of Dover; and her grandchildren, Thad Huenemann (Megan), Ben Huenemann, Allison Perry (Sean), Luke Freshwater (Megan), Sarah Miller (Ryan), Jordan Freshwater and Emme Brown. She is also survived by nine great granddaughters and one great grandson.
