He was predeceased by: his father Truman E. Maynard; his wife Dakota Maynard; and his brothers, Tommy, Donnie, Truman and Billy Joe Maynard.
He is survived by: his children, Dennis Maynard (Goldie), Tina Barber (Gary), John Dee Maynard and Bryan Maynard (Jessie); his siblings, James Maynard (Anna) and Nancy Maynard; his grandchildren, Michael Barber (Kari), Jaimie Huebner, Christal Foley, Kennedy and Trenton Maynard; and his great grandchild Brooks Barber. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
