She was predeceased by: her parents, Lloyd Hailey and Gladys Hailey Gearhart; her husband Robert L. Burkhart; her daughter Cathy Burkhart; her granddaughter Stacey Wallick; and her grandsons-in-law, Ryan Peterman and Tod Herron.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Burkhart (Jo Anne) of Dover and Thomas Burkhart (Shelly) of Dover; and her grandchildren, Julie Mathias (Brad Kerekes), Tressa Moore (Greg) and Thom Burkhart.
