It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta C. Liegl of Dover, Ohio, born in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, who passed away on August 15, 2023, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Joseph Goetz and Cecelia Goetz (Michel); her sisters, Joan Noland, Mary Noland, Leona Goetz, Elizabeth Goetz, Eva Goetz, Agnes and Veronica Goetz; and her daughter Mary Ann Liegl.
She is survived by: her husband George J. Liegl; her children, Rose Marie Shutt (Bill) of Florence, Kentucky and George Liegl, III of Dundee; her grandchildren, Joel Shutt, Joanna Harris (Jesse) and John Mark Shutt; her great grandchild Jase Harris; and her siblings, Eugene Goetz of Maryland, Kenneth Goetz of South Carolina, Rosemary Hafner of Pennsylvania, Henrietta Rudolph of Pennsylvania and Geraldine Minehart of Pennsylvania.
